Board Certification Process
All professions have a board certification process. This process allows our profession to show that our members are professionals who understand their scope of practice, code of ethics and professionalism. This enables CAHN-Pro to speak for members and provide the assurance to insurance companies, government and other practitioners that we, as a profession, adhere to the same strong standards as all other professions, even though we are a self-regulated profession.
You join as a standard member and receive all member benefits. When you’re ready to be board certified, you make arrangements with the office to receive the study guide and the instructions to write the exam. There is no fee for either the study guide or the additional information we provide to make it easy to prepare. There is also no separate fee for writing the exam. When you’re ready to write the exam, all you have to do is find a proctor and coordinate with us to obtain the exam.
Standard Membership
Members who have graduated from a recognized school join and work towards board certification. Standard members must maintain their membership by achieving 25 hours of educational or practical upgrading a year.

Note: Members who have passed their board certification exam receive a discounted rate of $255.00 per year.
New Graduate Membership
Members who have graduated from a recognized school join and work towards board certification. Members must maintain their membership by achieving 25 hours of educational or practical upgrading a year.
Note: Must apply for membership within six months of graduation to be eligible for the New Graduate discount.

Associate Membership
Members who wish to stay involved with the profession but may not be working in the field. Associate Members may be holistic nutritionists, students or other professionals.

Offline Method

Refund Policy: Membership fees can be refunded within 30 days of processing a membership application/renewal. A 50% refund is available within the first 3 months.
